Software projects are hard. Project sponsor expectations frequently exceed the developers’ ability to deliver upon them. Is somebody goofing off, showing bad faith or incompetent? Almost never.
Management and development speak different languages and care about different things. Can this gap ever be bridged?
What’s needed is an experienced, wise, patient, decisive peace envoy. What is required is clarity.
- Developers need a mentor and an advocate to Management.
- Management needs an evangelist and coach inside Development.
Our mentoring bridges that gap.
- Management benefits from clear insight into the work they are paying for … and better software development outcomes.
- Development benefits from sure-footed, calm, avuncular, but effective, professional advice … and better software development outcomes.
Arcturus Mentoring provides the wisdom, experience and skills to bridge the yawning chasm. Because making software shouldn’t be miserable.
